You just did something extraordinary. Your nutrition should match it.
Birth depletes your body of iron, B vitamins, and omega-3s at a rate most people don't realize. Breastfeeding demands an extra 500 calories a day. Yet most new mamas are surviving on whatever's quick and easy. You deserve better than that.

Our story
My wife had just been through the most intense experience of her life and was recovering, breastfeeding, running on no sleep.
What was available to nourish her was cookies and granola bars.
That didn't feel good enough. She needed real food, fast. So I built Oumama.
Oumama is a bake-at-home oat mix designed specifically for postpartum recovery and breastfeeding. Each bag contains a pre-measured dry mix packed with brewer's yeast, chia seeds, and whole rolled oats. Just add 2 eggs and 1 cup of water, bake for 22 minutes, and you have 4 days worth of nourishing slices ready to grab from the fridge
We currently offer two flavors. Dark Chocolate Oat Bake and Cinnamon Vanilla Oat Bake. More flavors are coming soon
Each bag makes 4 servings. We recommend slicing after baking and storing in the fridge so you have a slice ready whenever you need it
Yes. Every ingredient in Oumama has been specifically chosen to support postpartum recovery and breastfeeding. Brewer's yeast supports milk supply and provides B vitamins. Oats are one of the most well-known galactagogues. Chia seeds provide iron, calcium, and omega-3s
Yes. The dry mix contains no dairy ingredients. The egg you add is the only animal product in the recipe
Oumama contains oats and oat flour. While oats are naturally gluten free, they are often processed in facilities that handle wheat. We do not currently use certified gluten free oats so we cannot make a gluten free claim. If you have a gluten sensitivity or coeliac disease please consult your healthcare provider before consuming
Absolutely. Every ingredient is safe and nutritious for anyone. The functional ingredients like brewer's yeast and oats simply won't have the lactation-specific effect in someone who isn't breastfeeding, but the nutritional benefits are real for everyone.
